The Eucharist, the living and real presence of Jesus in our midst, in this sacrament.

For this reason, the Eucharist is the foundation, the center and the essence of our Catholic faith that must be centered on Jesus, our God and Lord.

The Eucharist is the greatest gift that God has given to men.

It is the greatest treasure in the world.

It is the life of our life, because it is Jesus Christ himself in person.

The Eucharist is not a sacred thing, it is Jesus himself, who tells us:

I am the bread of life, he who comes to Me will no longer hunger. Whoever believes in Me will never thirst (Jn 6:35).

He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood is in Me and I in him...

He who eats Me will live by Me . . . He who eats me will live forever (Jn 6:53-59).

—Matthew 19:5-6

Confessions

The Catholic Sacrament of Reconciliation (also sometimes referred to as Penance or Confession ) has three elements: conversion, confession, and celebration.

In it we find God's unconditional forgiveness; as a result, we are called to forgive others.

Anointing of the Sick

The Catholic Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick,   formerly known as Last Rites or Extreme Unction, is a ritual of healing appropriate not only for physical but also for mental and spiritual sickness.
